“So which do you like better, English or Spanish?”
Checo looks at me, nervous.
“English,” he answers.
“Good, you’re smart boys. You know English is going to open more doors for you,” says Walter. “But it’s nice that you’re keeping your Spanish. For songs and stuff.”
“Yeah, Spanish sounds pretty,” says Jeff, nodding.
